Terms
Terms of Use
Last updated: September 8, 2026
These Terms are a binding agreement between you and Elchanan Peres, operating Sixloom as an individual ("Sixloom", "we", "us"). By creating an account or using Sixloom, you agree to them. If you don't agree, don't use the service.
1. What Sixloom is
Sixloom is a group messaging service with an AI assistant built in. Members join groups, share information, and can ask the AI questions. The AI draws on what has been shared in the group, along with other sources, to answer.
Sixloom is currently in beta. Features may change, break, or be removed without notice.
2. Who can use Sixloom
You must be 18 or older to use Sixloom. By creating an account you confirm that you are at least 18. If we learn that an account belongs to someone under 18, we will close it and delete the associated data.
You must provide accurate information when you register and keep your login credentials secure. You are responsible for activity that happens under your account.
Sixloom is invite-only. We may limit, decline, or revoke access at our discretion.
3. Your content
You own what you post. Sixloom does not claim ownership of your messages, files, or contributions.
You give us permission to use it. By posting content to Sixloom, you grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to host, store, copy, process, adapt, and display that content for the purpose of operating the service. This includes:
- storing your content so it remains available to members of your group;
- processing it so the AI assistant can understand and answer questions from it;
- surfacing it — in full, in part, or in summarised or reworded form — to other members of the groups you posted it in, including at a later time and in response to questions asked by others.
Content shared into a group becomes part of that group's shared knowledge, and remains available to that group after you leave or delete your account. Your name is removed from it. See section 8.
You confirm you have the right to post it. You must not upload anything you do not have the right to share. This includes copyrighted material — lecture slides, textbook pages, past exam papers, or other course material — where you do not have permission from the copyright holder.
4. Acceptable use
You agree not to post, share, or transmit content that:
- is unlawful, or promotes or facilitates unlawful activity;
- harasses, bullies, threatens, defames, or intimidates any person;
- is hateful or discriminatory, including on the basis of race, ethnicity, religion, nationality, disability, sex, gender identity, or sexual orientation;
- is sexually explicit or pornographic, or sexualises minors in any way;
- depicts or promotes violence, self-harm, or harm to others;
- infringes anyone's copyright, trademark, privacy, or other rights;
- contains malware, or attempts to compromise the service or other users' accounts;
- is spam, or is posted for commercial solicitation without our permission;
- impersonates another person or misrepresents your affiliation.
You also agree not to:
- share another person's private information without their consent;
- use Sixloom to facilitate academic dishonesty in breach of your institution's rules;
- scrape, bulk-export, or systematically extract content or data from the service;
- attempt to circumvent access restrictions, rate limits, or safety measures;
- resell or commercially redistribute access to Sixloom.
5. Reporting and enforcement
Reporting. Every message and every AI answer in Sixloom can be reported from within the app. You can block another member, which prevents them from contacting you or seeing your content. You can also report content or conduct to us at support@sixloom.com.
Our response. We review reports of objectionable content and act within 24 hours. Where a report is upheld, we will remove the content and may suspend or permanently terminate the account of the member who posted it.
Our discretion. We may remove content, restrict features, or terminate any account — with or without notice — where we believe these Terms have been breached, where required by law, or where necessary to protect members or the service. We are not obligated to pre-screen content, but we may do so.
Appeals. If you believe we have acted in error, contact support@sixloom.com and we will review.
6. Copyright and takedown
If you believe content on Sixloom infringes your copyright, contact support@sixloom.com with:
- a description of the work you say has been infringed;
- where the content is located on Sixloom;
- your contact details;
- a statement that you believe in good faith the use is unauthorised, and that the information you have provided is accurate.
We will investigate and remove infringing material where appropriate. We may terminate the accounts of members who repeatedly infringe.
7. The AI assistant
Sixloom's AI answers questions using content shared in your groups and other sources. You should understand:
- Answers can be wrong. The AI may produce inaccurate, incomplete, or outdated information, and may misinterpret what was said in a group.
- Do not rely on it for anything that matters. Deadlines, assessment requirements, grades, and legal, financial, medical, or safety information should always be verified against an authoritative source. Sixloom is not responsible for consequences of relying on an AI answer.
- It is not a person. AI-generated responses are labelled in the app. You are not talking to a human when you interact with the assistant.
- It uses third-party providers. Content you share may be processed by third-party AI providers in order to generate answers. See our Privacy Policy.
8. Your account and deletion
You can delete your account at any time from Settings → Account → Delete account in the app. Deletion is immediate.
If you no longer have the app installed, email privacy@sixloom.com from the address registered to your account. We verify the request and delete within 7 days.
What is deleted: your account, login credentials, profile, name, email address, direct messages, and usage data.
What remains: messages and content you posted into groups stay available to those groups, with your name removed and no longer linked to you. Group content is shared knowledge that other members rely on, so removing one member's contributions would degrade it for everyone. If you want specific content removed as well, say so in your deletion request and we will remove it.
We may retain limited data where we have a legal obligation to do so, or to prevent fraud and abuse.
Deletion is permanent. We cannot restore a deleted account.
9. Service availability
Sixloom is provided "as is" and "as available". We do not guarantee that it will be uninterrupted, error-free, secure, or that content will not be lost. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the service at any time.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we exclude all warranties, express or implied.
10. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for loss of data, profits, or opportunity, arising from your use of the service.
Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded by law.
11. Content from other members
Sixloom hosts content created by its members. We do not endorse it and are not responsible for it. Members are responsible for what they post. Interactions with other members are at your own risk.
12. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms. If the changes are material, we will notify you in the app or by email before they take effect. Continuing to use Sixloom after that means you accept the updated Terms.
13. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, United States. The state and federal courts located in Delaware have exclusive jurisdiction, without regard to conflict of law rules.
If any provision is found unenforceable, the rest remain in force.
